The Y5B/Y5BW series connectors are low-profile, space-saving FPC/FFC connectors featuring a back-lock mechanism with improved lever operability. They offer mechanical design freedom through top and bottom double contacts and a wide selection of pin counts, including types with a minimal number of pins suitable for applications requiring compact designs. The connectors boast a height of 1.0 mm and a depth of 3.20 mm (3.70 mm with lever), with wiring patterns that can be placed underneath. The Y5BW variant includes advanced functionality like temporary FPC holding and enhanced holding force via dedicated holding contacts. These connectors are ideal for a wide range of digital equipment such as mobile phones, smartphones, PCs, digital still cameras, and digital video cameras, particularly for touch panels and LCD backlights.
